I'm Tom Barnett and I specialise in providing simplistic yet effective designs - ideal for the person (or indeed, the business) who wants a simple and effective web design solution.
I have been working on websites since 2002 and designing them for myself since 2003. I have a great deal of previous experience and have acquired quite a few skills along the way. I have done work with clients, friends and on a number of personal projects. In addition to building up a web portfolio, I also have a great deal of writing experience.
The site itself isn't quite finished yet - the portfolio is taking up most of my time - but please do have a poke around and I hope you like what you see.

Quite simply put, I believe that design should be elegant, graceful and simple. Simplicity allows you the maximum freedom on a website, it allows you room to manouvere and room to breathe. I believe that too many small businesses waste money on flashy websites with features that are highly unnecessary - as fun as they are to build, they often do not meet the needs of the client.
